eXcelerate WGT-R Asphalt compound tires were developed from decades of on track racing experience.
Our premium asphalt rubber compounds address the challenges of racing on outdoor asphalt surfaces. Focusing on balance, our rear tire compounds provide the traction needed in both low and high bite track surfaces while our front tires compounds provide the steering needed to balance the car.
The tire carcass construction features an ultra thin belt that increases stability while not affecting the handling of the tire while the contact patch was maximized for increased steering action and traction.
Front tires come standard with our Medium Foam Insert (M) and the rear tire is available in both Medium (M) and our new Soft Insert (S). The optional rear foam insert options allow racers to make fine tunning adjustments based on traction conditions. Our foam inserts are made from a high quality material that is superior in retaining is shape which provides consistent tires run after run.
With multiple compound options you can adjust traction and feel based on track conditions.
